Petitioner renews the prayer for bail.

Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that since the petitioner suffered burn injuries, the petitioner wanted to save the victim. The petitioner is in custody for one year five months and that in view of the ongoing pandemic, there is a bleak chance of the trial being concluded any time soon.

Learned Advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the contents in the Case Diary and the earlier order of rejection.

This is the third application for grant of bail by the petitioner. The last application was rejected on August 24, 2021 after returning the finding as follows:- "We have considered the material in the Case Diary including the statements of witnesses and the post mortem report.

The material prima facie incriminates the petitioner. Further, there is a rejection of his prayer for bail as recently as on April

20, 2021."

There is hardly any material change in circumstances subsequent to the order of rejection dated August 24, 2021 warranting grant of bail to the petitioner.
