The application for transfer of the petitioner on medical ground is pending consideration since 2022. It appears that a medical examination of the petitioner by the Medical Board was conducted sometime in July, 2022. The petitioner has not been made aware of the fate of the medical examination. Learned advocate for the Council is unable to reply to the query of the Court as to why the application seeking transfer is pending for the last two years.

In view of the above, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the Chairman, Purba Bardhaman District Primary School Council to take a decision on the prayer seeking transfer upon perusal of the report of the Medical Board at the earliest but positively within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order.

A reasoned order shall be passed and communicated to the petitioner immediately thereafter. Learned advocate for the petitioner is directed to forward a copy of all documents in support of her prayer to the aforesaid respondent at the time of communicating the order of the Court.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
