The petitioner claims that the private respondents have wrongfully retained two trucks belonging to him for alleged non-payment of repair charges at Birbhum.

The private respondents have filed a complaint against the petitioner. The police registered FIR, inter alia, under Section 406 of the IPC. The petitioner has obtained anticipatory bail.

The petitioner has lodged complaint with the Md. Bazar Police Station against the private respondent for wrongful detention of his truck. The investigation is yet to commence.

It is ordered that the petitioner's complaint also be registered as a FIR and the investigation into the two FIRs by and between the petitioner and the private respondent, be investigated as expeditiously as possible and final report be filed before the concerned ACJM, preferably within a period of four months from date.

The petitioner shall serve notice of this order to the private respondents.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
