The appellant is the husband. He filed the appeal being aggrieved by the judgment of the Additional District Judge, 2nd Court, Howrah in a suit for divorce filed by him. However, during the pendency of the appeal good sense prevails and the parties have decided to amicably settle their disputes.

The original letter of instruction addressed to Ms. Ankita Misra, learned Advocate-on-record for the appellant dated 12th August, 2025 is produced wherefrom it appears that the appellant is not willing to proceed with the appeal and the same be taken on record.

In view thereof, the appeal stands dismissed for non-prosecution.

Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

5.

T.C.R. be immediately sent down.
