State has submitted a report which reflects that a case being Joypur P.S. Case No. 159 of 2025 dated 11.09.2025 has been registered under the relevant provisions of the BNS as well as Section of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007.

Learned advocate for the petitioners, on instruction, submits that the

petitioners have returned to the premises where the private respondents are residing.

Although, the police report reflects that the petitioners are residing at the house of two elder sons namely Bablu Kotal and Totan Kotal.

Since the criminal case has already been registered under the relevant provisions of law, the police authorities are directed to take steps against the respondents.

If there are further accusations of torture being inflicted upon the petitioners, the petitioners would also be at liberty to bring it to the notice of the jurisdictional Magistrate in seisin of Joypur PS Case No. 159 of 2025.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 20648 of 2025 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record. Copy of the report be handed

over to the petitioners.
