1. Pursuant to the orders dated 22nd April, 2025, 6th May, 2025 and 13th May, 2025, today, Mr.

Sengupta, learned advocate representing the respondent nos. 4 and 6 has produced the entire records including the answer scripts relating to the selection process.

2. From a perusal of the same it appears that the final result of the aforesaid selection process has been published on 27th August, 2024, wherein Susanta Santra and Tapas Roy have succeeded. It also appears that Susanta Santra and Tapas Roy have been issued letters of appointment.

3. Let copies of the letters of appointment issued in

favour of Susanta Santra and Tapas Roy be retained with the record. Let a copy of the final result of selection test dated 27th August, 2024 be also retained with the records.

4. Let copies of the aforesaid documents be also made over to Mr.

Bhattacharjee, learned advocate representing the petitioner.

5. Having regard to the fact that the aforesaid selection process has long been completed and since it appears that Susanta Santra and Tapas Roy have secured the highest marks and have been appointed and since the prayers made in the writ petition was primarily for declaration of the results of the selection test, I am of the view that no fruitful purpose will be served to keep the same pending. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of.

6. Disposal of the aforesaid writ petition shall, however, not interfere with the rights of the petitioner to challenge the selection process of the aforesaid two candidates in accordance with law, if so advised.

7. Personal appearance of respondent no.6, stands dispensed with.

8. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance of requisite formalities.
