The petitioner alleges inaction on the part of the Gopalnagar Police Station.

The Officer-in-Charge, Gopalnagar Police Station has filed a report dated 15th September 2022 and the same is taken on record.

It appears from the report that on the complaint of the petitioner FIR No.447/22 dated 4th August 2022 has been registered and has been investigated. Private respondents have surrendered and are on bail. The private respondents have also filed counter complaint against the petitioner, and Gopalnagar Police Station Case No.446/22 dated 4th August 2022 has been registered. The petitioner is also found to be involved in another case being Gopalnagar Police Station Case No.394/22 dated 15th July 2022.

It is ordered that the investigation into the aforesaid FIRs be completed as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months from date.

Gopalnagar Police shall, however, ensure that there is no breach of peace in the area.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
