The petitioner is a contractual Assistant Teacher in Arabic language cum Clerk of Hareknagar Hazi Moksed Adarsha Balika Vidyalaya. The Deputy Director of School Education (Admn.), West Bengal, the respondent no. 3 herein, vide Memo No. 980 - Sc/Apt/4A - 135P - 2018 dated July 03, 2018 requested, inter alia, the Head Master/ Head Mistress of all the Schools to submit information regarding the number of employees working as contractual/casual/daily rated worker/DEOs/SSP and others in his office.

The petitioner alleges that such information is required to be sent to the said respondent for inclusion of his name in the pay-roll of the School but the teacher-in-charge of the said School, the respondent no. 6 herein is not taking any steps for sending such information to the said respondent. The learned advocate for the respondent no. 6 files a written instruction of his client wherein the said respondent has stated that the erstwhile Head Mistress did not take steps in the matter but she would take appropriate steps immediately. The said written instruction is taken on record.

The respondent no. 6 is directed to send the required information in terms of the aforesaid memo to the respondent no. 3 within three weeks from date.

W.P.A. 20830 of 2022 is disposed of with the above terms. There shall be however no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
