Sri Samir Roy Mr. Nitai Ch. Saha Ms. N. Agarwal Mr. Abhijit Majumder ....for the petitioner This application under Article of the Constitution of India is at the instance of the wife praying for a direction upon the learned Additional District Judge, 8th Court at Alipore to dispose of the Miscellaneous Case No.25 of 2020 expeditiously. The learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the miscellaneous case is pending from the year 2020 and the husband/opposite party herein has not paid a single farthing on account of alimony pendente lite.

In view of the order sought and proposed to be passed this Court feels that there is no necessity to direct issuance of any notice upon the opposite party. However, the learned advocate for the petitioner shall be obliged to forward a copy of this application along with this order upon the opposite party or his learned advocates representing the opposite party before the learned Additional District Judge.

From the order sheets appended to this application, this Court finds that the miscellaneous case is fixed for hearing. The learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the next date for hearing of the miscellaneous case has been fixed on October 31, 2025. In the light of the submission made by the learned advocate for the petitioner, CO 3218 of 2025 stands disposed of by requesting the learned Additional District Judge, 8th Court at Alipore to make an endeavour to dispose of the Miscellaneous Case No.25 of 2020 as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties provided the same is otherwise ready for hearing. There will be no order as to costs.
