The petitioner insists on the fact that in the report submitted by the police authorities, it has been admitted that heavy vehicles have been parked which is creating obstruction to free egress and ingress of the petitioner.

However, the police authorities, at the relevant point of time, as and when the complaint is receipt, have taken steps.

Having regard to the fact that a Compromise Decree was earlier filed in TS 11 of 1998, I am of the view that the Inspector-in-charge of the concerned police station would ensure that there should not be any obstruction to free egress and ingress so far as the parking of the vehicles are concerned.

The concerned Municipal Authorities would make regulations for such parking in the area referred to in the writ petition which is a cause of annoyance to the peaceful enjoyment so far as the petitioner and other residents of the locality are concerned.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 21089 of 2024 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.
