Records reveal that upon hearing the learned advocates appearing for the respective parties, this Court by an order dated 19th September, 2024 directed for distribution of an amount of Rs.17,61,586/- equally among the three sons and one daughter of the deceased employee.

When the matter again appeared before this Court on 11th December, 2024, it was submitted on behalf of the writ petitioner and the private respondent that though this Court directed distribution of an amount of Rs.17,61,586/-, the appropriate authority had disbursed only an amount of Rs.17,06,988/-. In view thereof, this Court directed Mr. Basu Mallick,

learned advocate appearing for the State/respondents to avail necessary instruction.

Today, Mr. Basu Mallick learned advocate appearing for the State respondents submits that the amount due was erroneously stated to be Rs.17,61,586/-. The actual amount due and payable was Rs.17,06,988/. In support of such contention, he has placed before this Court a calculation sheet. Copies of the said calculation sheet have been handed over to the learned advocates appearing for the writ petitioner and the private respondent no.13 in Court today. Let a copy of the same, as produced, be kept on record.

Upon perusal of the same, the learned advocates appearing for the petitioner and the private respondent no.13 have raised no dispute and that as such, no further interference is called for in the present writ petition since the amounts due and payable to the parties have already been disbursed in terms of the earlier order of this Court dated 19th September, 2024. The writ petition and the connected applications are, accordingly, disposed of.

There shall, however, be no order as to costs. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties, upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
