1. Heard learned counsel for the parties.

2. Bail prayer of the petitioner was rejected in June, 2024. Thereafter, charge has been framed and the case has been fixed for examination of witnesses. .

3. In view of the aforesaid development and the gravity of offence which, if proved, could attract mandatory life imprisonment, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

4. We direct the Trial Court to expedite the trial and bring the same to its logical conclusion at the earliest without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
