The petitioner claims to be a widow daughter of a deceased primary school teacher. She claims family pension in terms of the Memorandum of the Joint Secretary, Government of West Bengal, School Education Department, Budget Branch being No.96SE(B)/IM-112/2008 (Part-1) dated 13th April, 2010. Without going into the merit of the prayer of the petitioner, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the District Inspector of Schools (Primary Education), Purba Medinipur to consider the prayer of the petitioner in accordance with law at the earliest but positively within a period of twelve weeks from the date of communication of this order. A reasoned order

shall be passed and communicated to the petitioner immediately thereafter.

If the petitioner is found entitled to receive family pension, steps shall be taken to disburse the same within the shortest possible time.

Learned advocate for the petitioner is directed to forward a copy of the representation dated 15th July, 2024 along with all documents in support of her prayer to the aforesaid respondent at the time of communicating the order of the Court.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
