Mr. Mukherjee, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that thorough investigation has been conducted and it is still continuing. All probable witnesses have been examined. However, the body of the missing person has not been recovered. He submits that the final report will be filed within a fortnight from date.

Let the final report be filed before the Jurisdictional Criminal Court within a fortnight from date upon intimation to the petitioner. That Court will

take necessary action thereafter in accordance with law.

We have not gone into the merits of the matter nor have expressed any opinion thereon. It will be upto the Jurisdictional Criminal Court to take appropriation action, as it may deem fit and proper, in the facts and circumstances of the case.

WPA 19791 of 2018 is, accordingly, disposed of. Urgent Photostat Certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied expeditiously after complying with all necessary legal formalities.
