... for respondent no. 4 & 5 Petitioners and the private respondents are related to each other. Petitioners are the parents and private respondent nos. 4 and 5 are the son and daughter-inlaw. Report of the police authority reflects that on the basis of the information submitted by the petitioner no. 2, Sonarpur PS Case No. 1069/25 was registered for investigation and on completion of investigation chargesheet has been submitted before the jurisdictional court. Again on the basis of a complaint of respondent no. 5 Sonarpur PS Case No. 609/25 dated 18.04.2025 was registered for investigation. Since the report reflects that Sonarpur PS Case No. 1069/25 dated 13.07.2025 incorporate Section 24 of Maintenance and Welfare of

Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 and the parents being the petitioners herein complained that they are unable to stay at the residence, I direct that in case the petitioners submit an intimation to the local police authority, local police authority would ensure that the petitioners are able to enter the residence.

Learned Advocate for the petitioners submitted that there are two separate houses. The house in which the private respondents are presently staying, petitioners did not intend to enter the said premises. However, in such circumstance petitioner will not be disturbed and the peaceful enjoyment of the petitioners would not be obstructed by the private respondents.

In case any situation or circumstance arises which is seen to have been blown out of proportion, the policy authority would interfere for ensuring and/or restoring peace and tranquility.

With the aforesaid observation, WPA 20451 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report submitted by the State is kept with the record. A copy of the report be handed over to the learned Advocate for the petitioners.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
