The petitioner prays for a direction on the DRT -III for an early date of hearing in respect of an action taken by the respondent -Bank.

According to learned counsel, the respondent -Bank has put a padlock on the petitioner's residential house on 28th November, 2022. Counsel also submits that the petitioner has taken out an interim application before the DRT -III against the action of the Bank.

On considering the records before the Court, it is not clear as to whether the petitioner has taken out any application against the recent

steps taken by the respondent -Bank before the DRT -III. The petitioner's application is of October, 2022. The petitioner hence has the liberty of filing an urgent application for appropriate relief before the DRT. The contention that the DRT -III is vacant and the petitioner's matter is not being heard is not borne out from records. The writ court is not the statutory forum available to the petitioner for the relief prayed for. WPA 20890 of 2022 is accordingly dismissed without any order as to costs.
