Mr. Indranil Halder ...for the Petitioner Mr. Suman Ghosh, Mr. Aayush Sharma ...for CESC 02-09-2025 AKG Ct. 15 It appears that a final order of assessment dated August 14, 2025, has been passed by the assessing officer, requiring the petitioner to deposit a sum of Rs. 1,74,684/-. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is willing to pay the said finally assessed amount and seeks time to do so.

Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioner to deposit the said finally assessed amount within seven days from the date hereof. Needless to mention, if the amount is deposited along with the requisite reconnection charges, the petitioner's line shall be restored forthwith.

Accordingly, WPA 20481 of 2025 stands disposed of. Urgent certified website copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
