Petitioner complains that an information was sent on 25.03.2025 to the Superintendent of Police, Baruipur as the petitioner on or about 22.03.2025 was threatened by the private respondents with deadly weapons, particularly when he intended to enter his land. Petitioner complains that the private respondents are influential and exhausting their influence for taking illegal possession so far as the landed property of the petitioner is concerned.

State has submitted a report. Report reflects that a long standing land dispute is existing. Records reflect that Kultali PS Case No. 380/2021, Kultali PS Case No. 291/2022, Kultali PS Case No. 86/2023 were registered for investigation. Police authorities have already submitted charge sheet in

connection with the said cases. Subsequently, Kultali PS Case No. 538/2023 was registered for investigation.

Be that as it may, police authorities on their enquiry have found that although TS Case No.

172/24 and TS Case No. 187/24 is pending before the Civil Court, Baruipur. They have also found that a portion of the land is being possessed by the opposite party for a considerable period of time. Be that as it may, police authorities have drawn up proceedings under section 126/135(3) of the BNSS against the opposite parties. Having considered that the police authorities are aware in respect of the ground reality, police authorities will only oversee that the dispute and difference between the petitioner and the private respondents are not blown out of proportion. In case, such a situation arise and police authorities find that any cognizable offence is made out, police authorities would take steps in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 20692 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report submitted be kept with the record.

Copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner.
