From the report filed by the State in court today it appears that recording of evidence is complete. December 24, 2024, has been fixed as the date for examination under Section 313 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. Therefore, the trial is on the verge of conclusion.

In view of the prima facie incriminating material against the petitioner, we are not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail, at this stage.

CRM (DB) 2738 of 2024 is, thus, dismissed.

However, considering that the petitioner has been in custody for quite some time, we request the learned Trial Court to conclude the trial as soon as possible.
