In spite of repeated service of notice upon the School Authority of Chelyama Bhagbat Chandra Girls' High School (HS), District-Purulia, being respondent no.5, the said School Authority is not represented today. Matter relates to transfer of the petitioner on medical ground, application was made on Utsashree Portal on 26th November, 2022. Grievance of the petitioner is that in spite of making such application on the portal seeking transfer on medical ground the aforesaid School Authority till date has not forwarded the transfer application of the petitioner to the concerned District Inspector of Schools (SE), Purulia for taking further step.

The School Authority, being respondent no.5, is directed to forward the transfer application of the petitioner to the District Inspector of Schools (SE), Purulia, being respondent no.4, by seven days from the date of communication of this order. After receipt of transfer application the respondent no.4 is directed to forward the same to the Chief Medical Officer of Health for medical verification and furnishing of medical report. If the medical report of CMOH supports transfer of the petitioner, the respondent no.4 is further directed to forward the transfer application along with the medical report to the West Bengal Central School Service Commission for taking final decision. In the event, transfer application of the petitioner is forwarded to the concerned authority of the Commission, the said authority shall decide the transfer application of the petitioner within a reasonable time. The aforesaid exercise shall be completed by the respondent no.4 by four weeks from date of receipt of the transfer application from the school authority.

With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.

There shall, however, be no order as to cost.
