1. It has been submitted by the learned advocate for the petitioners that on repeated occasions, the learned advocate for the State did not appear.
2. Mr. Sengupta, learned advocate, who usually appears for the State is present in Court and is requested to appear in this matter.
3. Let the engagement of Mr. Sengupta along with a junior of his choice be regularised by the learned Legal Remembrancer.
4. Let a copy of the writ petition be served upon the junior of Mr. Sengupta.
5. Learned advocate for the petitioners submits that the private respondents are carrying on the business of sweetmeat in a portion of the premises, which is owned by the petitioners.
6. The learned advocate for the petitioners submits that the private respondents are creating disturbances while
manufacturing the sweets and for such purpose, the petitioners have lodged a complaint with the competent authority of the Pollution Control Board, which is still pending.
7. After hearing the learned advocates for the petitioners and the State, this Court finds that the petitioners could not make out any case of police inaction.
8. In view thereof, this Court is not inclined to grant any relief to the petitioners. The petitioners are left free to approach the proper forum for appropriate reliefs in accordance with law.
9. The Officer-in-Charge, Uttarpara Police Station is directed to see that no breach of peace takes place at the locale.

With the aforesaid observations/directions, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be, however, no order as to costs. 12.
Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be furnished to the parties expeditiously upon compliance of all legal formalities.
