Pursuant to the directions passed by this Court on 26th September, 2022, the records relating to the case pending before the Seventh Industrial Tribunal have been produced. From a perusal of the order sheet it would appear that the interim relief application filed by the petitioner on 7th January, 2014 is still pending. It is rather unfortunate that an application praying for interim relief which is ordinarily required to be disposed of expeditiously has been kept pending this long. Since the petitioner only prays expeditious disposal of the said application filed under Section 15(2)(b) of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947, let such application which is pending since 7th January, 2014, be disposed of by the Seventh Industrial Tribunal as expeditiously as possible preferably with a period of six months from date. Department is directed to return the records of the

case to the Seventh Industrial Tribunal forthwith. With the above observations and directions, the writ application, being WPA 20963 of 2022 is disposed of. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of necessary formalities.
