This Court does not find any irregularity in the order dated August 5, 2025 passed by the learned District Judge, Hooghly. At this juncture, the petitioner prays for expeditious disposal of Act VIII Case No.78 of 2022.

The prayer of the petitioner is innocuous. Neither party stands to lose if a proceeding is disposed of expeditiously. In fact, such expeditious disposal shall enure to the benefit of the parties. Hence, there is no requirement for service of prior notice upon the opposite party.

This revisional application is disposed of by requesting the learned Trial Judge to dispose of the said Act VIII Case preferably within one year from date upon giving adequate opportunity to all the contesting parties, but without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, and strictly in accordance with law.

This court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the Act VIII Case. The learned court shall proceed independently and in accordance with law.

A copy of the revisional application along with a server copy of this order be served upon the opposite party and/or the learned advocate contesting the matter on behalf of the opposite party in the learned court below, within a week. 6.

Affidavit-of-service to be filed before the Court below.

The revisional application is accordingly disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
