1. The writ petitioner complains that the private respondent no. 9, who claims to have purchased 30 sataks of land from the predecessor-in-interest of the petitioner, is threatening and intimidating her. The petitioner is in possession of the land-in-question.

2. Gaighata Police Station has taken out proceeding under Section 107 of the Cr. P. C.

3. The private respondents may institute appropriate proceedings if they wish to assert their rights in respect of the property.

4. The police shall ensure that there is no breach of peace in the area and that the petitioner's possession is not disturbed, subject to any orders of a Civil Court.

5. The writ petition is disposed of.

6. There will be no order as to costs.

7. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
