Since the innocuous prayer of the petitioner is for expeditious disposal of Complaint Case No. C/1135 of 2023 pending before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bidhan Nagar, Kolkata, the matter may be disposed of without service of notice upon the opposite party. The opposite party shall not be prejudiced by an order directing expeditious disposal of the matter.

The matter is pending before the learned Magistrate since 2023. The accused/opposite party failed to appear before the learned Trial Court for which warrant of arrest was issued against him. The accused/ opposite party surrendered before the learned Trial Court and obtained bail but on the following date, he again failed to turn up for which warrant of arrest was issued. In the said back drop the learned Court is directed to conclude the trial as expeditiously as the business of the Court would permit, without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, in accordance with law.

CRR No. 3581 of 2024 is disposed of accordingly. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
