Ms. Sreyasree Choudhury ... for the petitioner Ms. Sreyasree Choudhury, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that there is a typographical mistake in the order dated 31st July, 2025 and he prays for correction of the same. On perusal of the order dated 31st July, 2025 it is revealed that in paragraph 2 instead of <The father of the petitioner was an Assistant Teacher of a Primary School, who retired from service on 31.03.1994 and died on 12.07.2007. The mother of the petitioner had completed all pension related formalities and pension payment order was issued, and after the death of the mother of the petitioner the Pension Payment Order was issued on 05.02.2021 as unmarried daughter family pension.

= in the order, it should be read as <The father of the petitioner was an Assistant Teacher of a Primary School, who retired from service on 31.03.1994 and died on 23.06.2006. The mother of the petitioner had completed all pension related formalities and pension payment order was issued, and after the death of the mother of the petitioner the Pension Payment Order was issued on 05.02.

pension.= and in the paragraph 5 instead of <In view of the above, and after hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner, I direct the Director of Pension, Provident Fund and Group Insurance, Government of West Bengal as also the concerned Treasury Officer to pay interest to the petitioner @ 8% per annum on the arrear pension amount calculated from 13.04.2021 till the date of actual payment. Such payment is to be made within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.= in the order, it should be read as <In view of the above, and after hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner, I direct the Director of Pension, Provident Fund and Group Insurance, Government of West Bengal as also the concerned Treasury Officer to pay interest to the petitioner @ 8% per annum on the arrear pension amount calculated from 13.04.2010 till the date of actual payment. Such payment is to be made within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.= The other portion of the order dated 31st July, 2025 shall remain the same.
