Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the headmaster of a Madrasah. He is in no way connected with the alleged offence. He had never asked the petitioner to do any kind of hooking or the like. Learned counsel for the State relies on the case diary, strongly opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail, refers to the statements of the children as well as a teacher and local witnesses and submits that it appears from the statements of local witnesses and a former teacher that the petitioner was running the Madrasah by hooking electricity. Time and again the local people and other teachers asked him not to do so. Earlier, a boy had suffered electric shock.

Considering the incriminating materials available in the case diary, I do not consider this to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail.

However, the petitioner shall be at liberty to surrender and pray for bail before the learned trial court. The application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of requisite formalities.
