The petitioner is aggrieved that the private respondent sister-in-law, who had already sold the petitioner's late brother's property, is now trying to grab his property. The petitioner has been threatened and intimidated. On the petitioner's complaint Raidighi Police has registered FIR No.507/2022 dated 16th September, 2022.

Since, admittedly there is bad blood between the family members inter alia on the ground that the sister-in-law has now converted to a different religion, Raidighi Police shall ensure that the petitioner is not in any way harmed by the private respondents.

In the event of any further complaint from the petitioner, Raidighi Police may consider the threat perception and take appropriate steps in accordance with law. The investigation into the aforesaid FIR must be completed as expeditiously as possible.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

The report filed by the CI Mandirbazar, holding charge of IC Raidighi Police Station, Sundarban Police District is taken on record.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
