The writ petitioner complains of alleged inaction on the part of the Katwa Police Station. The petitioners have sought assistance of the police to construct a boundary wall. Admittedly, the private respondents have obtained a decree in a civil suit against the petitioners. The petitioners, in turn, have filed T. S. No. 137 of 2021 which is now pending before the learned Civil Judge(Junior Division), 1st Court, Katwa.

This Court is of the view that the dispute between the parties as regards the boundary wall is purely civil in nature. Appropriate remedies may be obtained from the Civil Court by the petitioners.

Katwa Police shall ensure that there is no breach of peace in the area.

The writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
