An affidavit of compliance has been filed on behalf of alleged contemnor wherefrom it appears that Deputy Registrar of Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya (BCKV) has passed an order dated 12th December, 2023 in terms of the order passed by this Court on 24th August, 2022 whereby it was directed by this Court that if the petitioner is entitled to receive any other financial benefits it would be open to the petitioner to make representation to the concerned authority of BCKV within thirty days from the date of passing order and on receipt of such representation BCKV authority was directed to take decision in accordance with law within a specified time.

In view of the order which has been

communicated vide memo dated 12th December, 2023 which is annexed at page 7 of the affidavit of compliance it appears that the aforesaid direction of this Court has been complied with.

However, this order shall not preclude the applicant to take steps in accordance with law, if steps are not taken pursuant to the order of the Deputy Registrar of BCKV which has been communicated vide memo dated 12th December, 2023, if so advised.

Accordingly, the contempt application stands disposed of and contempt proceeding also stands dropped.
