Despite service, no one appears on behalf of the private respondents.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the private respondents have made some illegal construction on public land.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State submits that the representation to this effect was made by the petitioner before the concerned SDO on 25.07.2024 and the same is pending consideration.

In view of the above, let the concerned SDO consider the representation of the petitioner made in this regard dated 25.07.2024 in accordance with law and upon hearing the interested parties as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

As affidavits were not called for, allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order may be supplied to the parties expeditiously, if applied for. (Jay Sengupta, J.)
