The petitioner claims that although the petitioner was selected as an ASHA Karmee, the respondents had failed and neglected to issue the order of engagement/appointment to the petitioner. Reliance is placed on Page 26 of the writ petition to demonstrate that the petitioner's name appeared as a selected candidate for 22 Mahata Sub-Centre. It is submitted by the learned advocate for the petitioner that Minta Bibi and Minta Khatoon is one and the same person.

It is submitted by the petitioner that the Block Medical Officer of Health, Beldanga-II Block, the respondent no.4 herein shall be the appropriate authority to consider the grievances of the petitioner. In view of the fact that the prayer of the petitioner is innocuous and none of the respondents are before the Court, the Court deems it fit to dispose of the writ petition by directing the Block Medical Officer of Health, Beldanga-II Block to dispose of the

representation of the petitioner, which is Annexure-P/6 at Page 28 to the writ petition, in accordance with law. While disposing of the same, the writ petitioner and/or her representative or her learned advocate shall be heard. The writ petitioner shall be allowed to produce oral and documentary evidence before the authority. Any other interested party or any person appointed in the said SubCentre, shall be heard. A reasoned order shall be passed and communicated to all, within two months.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. However, there will be no order as to costs.

Parties are directed to act on the basis of the learned advocates' communication.
