Heard learned advocates for the petitioner and for the State at length.

Perused the entire materials as placed before this Court including the materials as available in the case diary. 3.

On perusal of the entire materials in the case diary, it prima facie appears to this Court that the present accused petitioner is not the principal assailant. 4.

Considering such fact and also considering the fact that the present accused petitioner is languishing in judicial custody for a considerable length of time and also considering the fact that investigation is already completed, this Court finds no reason to keep the present accused petitioner in further detention. 5.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail is allowed.

Accordingly, the petitioner, namely Prosenjit Dam shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of

Rs.20,000/-, with two registered sureties of Rs.10,000/- each, to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Purba Bardhaman, and on further condition that the present accused petitioner shall have to appear before the learned Trial Court on each and every date of substantive hearing unless his personal appearance is dispensed with by the learned Trial Court for the reasons recorded in writing.

CRM (M) 1556 of 2025 is, thus, disposed of.
