Petitioner is directed to serve a copy of the revisional application upon Ms. Trina Mitra, learned advocate, who ordinarily appears on behalf of the State. Her appointment may be regularised by the concerned authorities.

The case was registered under Sections 420/406/34 of the Indian Penal Code being Uttarpara Police Station Case No.102 of 2023 dated 21.03.2023.

Having regard to the stage of the case that the investigation is still in progress, I am of the view that at this stage it would not be fit and proper to interfere with the investigation. Petitioner would be at liberty to canvass issues/documents which are in his custody for unearthing the truth to the investigating officer or the superior officer of police. Liberty is also granted to the petitioner to approach this Court after the investigating agency files

their report under Section 173 of the Code of Criminal Procedure and copies under Section 207 of the Code of Criminal Procedure are supplied to him. No interference is made at this stage considering the case is premature.

Accordingly, CRR 3213 of 2023 is disposed of. Pending application, if any, is consequently disposed of. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
