S. Case No. 21 of 2023 under Sections 419, 420, 407 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. Affidavit filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.

Report filed on behalf of the State is also taken on record.

Copy of the same is handed over to the learned counsel for the petitioner.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner became a victim of an online fraud and was cheated of a total amount of Rs. 22 lakhs and odd.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State relies on the report and submits as follows. Investigation into the alleged offences is going on in full swing. Already a sum of Rs. 60,000/- was recovered and returned to the bank of the

petitioner and about a sum of Rs. 1,30,000/- was recovered and is kept on hold. The process is on to unearth the money trail and the ultimate beneficiary of the fraudulent account. CDR of suspected mobile phones has also been collected and the process has started to indentify the accused. It appears that the Investigating Agency is working hard to unearth the truth. Already some amount of money has been recovered and refunded to the petitioner. Therefore, no further order need be passed in this regard.

The Investigating Officer shall conclude the investigation expeditiously and in accordance with law. With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
