Mr. Ajay Debnath Mr. Asit Kumar De Mr. Devranjan Das Mr. Banibrata Dutta Mr. Manas Dasgupta ..... for the petitioner Mr. Nilotpal Chatterjee Mr. Amrita Lal Chatterjee .......for the State The only prayer of the petitioner is for a direction on the BDO, Patashpur Block-II, Purba Medinipur to consider and dispose of a representation dated 22nd July, 2022 of the petitioner wherein the petitioner has sought permission to hold Durga Puja in a particular plot of land.

The State is represented.

Even though the representation was made in July, 2022, the BDO has sat over the representation without caring to response to the same knowing fully well that the Durga Puja is due to start from 1st October, 2022.

WPA 21081 of 2022 is disposed of with the direction on the SDO, Egra to consider and dispose of the representation and communicate his decision to the

petitioner within 24 hrs. from the time that the order is dictated in the open Court.

The parties shall be at liberty of communicating the order to the concerned respondent on the basis of the order dictated in open Court.

The writ petition is disposed of in terms of the above.

It is made clear that the Court has not gone into the merits of the matter.
