1. The petitioner alleges that the police authorities have not taken any step pursuant to the complaint lodged by the petitioner by a letter dated July 22, 2019.

2. The learned advocate appearing for the State files a report of the Inspector-in-Charge, Tapan Police Station dated October 2, 2024. After going through the said report, it appears that pursuant to the said complaint, an FIR was registered being Tapan Police Station Case No. 310 of 2019 dated December 3, 2019 and after completion of investigation, Report in Final Form vide Tapan P.S. Final Form No. 44 of 2022 dated January 29, 2022 has been submitted.

3. It therefore, appears that the police authorities have taken steps pursuant to the complaint lodged by the petitioners. In case the petitioner feels aggrieved, it would be open to the petitioner to take appropriate

steps before the concerned jurisdictional Court in accordance with law.

4. Let a copy of the Report in Final Form be supplied to the learned advocate for the petitioner.

5. Copy of the Report filed by the State be kept with the record.

6. With the above observations/directions, the writ petition stands disposed of.

7. There shall be, however, no order as to costs.

8. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be furnished to the parties expeditiously upon compliance of all legal formalities.
