1. Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today be kept with the record.

2. The petitioner complains that the private respondents, son and daughter-in-law tortured him.

3. Falta Police Station has filed a report dated 12th April, 2023 in the form of instructions addressed to the Government Pleader, High Court, Calcutta, which is taken on record.

4. It appears therefrom that on the petitioner's complaint, FIR has been registered and charge-sheet being C.S. No. 255 of 2022 dated 26th December, 2022 under Sections 342/323/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 25 of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizen Act has been filed.

5. The private respondents are represented. It is submitted that the parties are trying to amicably settle

the issue. There appears to be a long-standing property dispute between the family members.

6. Falta Police Station shall ensure that there is absolutely no breach of peace in the area. The petitioner is not in any way intimidated by the private respondents and the parties may live in peace.

7. The private respondents undertake before this Court not to disturb the petitioner in any way.

8. With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

9. There will be no order as to costs.
