Affidavit-of-service filed by the petitioner is taken on record.

The petitioner alleges that the police authorities have not taken any steps pursuant to the complaint lodged by the petitioner, which is annexed at page 24 of the petition.

The learned Advocate appearing for the State files a report of the Officer-in-Charge of Bakultala Police Station dated September 27, 2024, which is taken on record.

After going through the report, this Court finds that pursuant to the complaint lodged by the petitioner, Bakultala Police Station FIR No. 446 of 2024 dated September 25, 2024 has been registered.

Since the FIR has been registered, the concerned Investigating Agency is directed to conclude the investigation expeditiously and to take all consequential steps thereupon.

In the event, the petitioner is not satisfied with the further progress of the investigation, it will be open to the petitioner to approach the concerned jurisdictional Court for appropriate reliefs in accordance with law.

With the above observations and directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
