Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been implicated in connection with the instant case as he was present in the house and has opened the door. Petitioner is in custody for almost 600 days, as such on any stringent conditions petitioner may be released on bail. Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that charges have been framed and the quantum of recoveries of 7 kg 900 grams of heroin. Having regard to the huge volume of heroin recovered, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner being CRM (NDPS) 1096 of 2025 is dismissed.

Learned trial Court is directed to expedite the trial to take the same to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time.
