Order dictated by Arijit Banerjee, J.:

More than 23 kgs of ganja was allegedly recovered from this petitioner.

In view of the restrictions in Section 37 of the NDPS Act, we are not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. 3.

However, the petitioner is in custody for close to a year. Witness action has not started.

We direct the learned Trial Court to expedite the trial and conclude the same within one year from the next date fixed for recording of evidence without granting unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties.

CRM (NDPS) 1332 of 2024 is, thus, dismissed.
