Contempt is alleged of an order dated 4th April, 2023 passed by this Court in WPA 25679 of 2022. 2.

The petitioner submits that secretary of the local business owners syndicate is obstructing his bus from moving particularly in and around the Katwa area. 3.

The police have registered three several FIRs on the complaint of the petitioner. Investigation has been completed and charge sheet has been filed.

This Court is of the view that if the petitioner wants any police presence in his bus particularly in the Katwa area, he must pay applicable costs that shall be communicated to him by the police.

It also appears to this Court that the police cannot continuously monitor the bus movement of the petitioner. The disputes between the petitioner and the private respondents may be adjudicated in an independent proceeding in accordance with law.

The report dated 15th September, 2023 issued by the Inspector-in-Charge, Katwa Police Station is taken on record.

With the aforesaid directions, the contempt application shall stand disposed of.

8.

Personal presence of the alleged contemnor, if any, is dispensed with.

9.

Rule, if any, shall stand discharged.

10.

Interim orders, if any, shall stand vacated.

11.

There will be no order as to costs.
