In this writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for an order directing the Officer-in-Charge of the local police station to take steps against the private respondent nos. 5 to 8 so that they cannot change the nature and character of the scheduled plot of land.

It is not in dispute that a civil revision application being CO No. 3600 of 2019 arising out of a pre-emption proceeding is pending before a Coordinate Bench. On a query of this Court as to whether there is an order restraining the private respondent from changing the nature and character of the property in question, Mr. Chatterjee, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that there is no such order passed in CO 3600 of 2019. Mr. Chatterjee thereafter prayed for leave to withdraw this writ petition with liberty to

approach the Hon'ble Court where CO 3600 of 2019 is pending for appropriate reliefs.

The writ petition stands dismissed as withdrawn with the liberty as sought for by the petitioner. (Hiranmay Bhattacharyya, J.)
