Perused the report filed by the Assistant Engineer (Conservancy), Howrah Municipal Corporation signed on 16th February, 2024.

The old dustbin in question being broken is liable to be dismantled. A new dustbin has already been constructed and the same shall be used for disposal of garbage. The HMC shall regularly clean the present dustbin which will be in use. The place in question shall be cleaned on regular basis so that the garbage does not spill over and create any nuisance in the said area.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously, on compliance of usual legal formalities.
