1. Petitioner prays for expeditious disposal of the maintenance proceeding.

2. I have considered the order sheet annexed to the petition. Maintenance proceeding is continuing since 2023. Opposite party has not appeared in the proceeding on a number of occasions.

3. Under such circumstances, I direct the learned Magistrate to take immediate steps for disposal of the proceeding at the earliest without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.

4. With this direction, CRR 3611 of 2024 is disposed of. (Joymalya Bagchi, J.)
