Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that five further prosecution witnesses are likely to be examined at the trial.

Petitioner stands implicated in murder.

Given the stage of the trial and the materials on record implicating the petitioner and the period of his detention, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

The application being C.R.M. (DB) 2783 of 2024 stands dismissed.
