By the said order, the State Authority has presumably (going by the language used in the letter) restricted the claim of the petitioner to the security deposit. The petitioner wrote a letter to the State Authority on 31st January, 2022 stating that the petitioner does not have any claim against the respondents except security deposit and earnest money. Although the writ petition has been filed after a considerable length of time, learned counsel appearing for the State proposes that the letter dated 31st January, 2022 may be considered by the respondent no. 5 within a period of four weeks from date.

WPA 21125 of 2022 is disposed of with a direction on the respondent no. 5 being the Assistant Director of Fisheries, Marine, Diamond Harbour, South Parganas, to consider and dispose of the communication made on 31st January, 2022, by passing a reasoned order within a period of four weeks from date after hearing the petitioner. A copy of the reasoned order shall be made available to the petitioner within a week from the date of passing such order. ( Moushumi Bhattacharya, J.)
