Petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction of the police authorities in respect of communication made to the Officer-in-Charge, Dhaniakhali Police Station. Petitioner complains that information was sent on or about 12.08.2025. The broad heads under which the petitioner raised the issues are that on 12.08.2025, the accused persons threatened relating to the issue of visiting or enquiring regarding the whereabouts of the son/child of the petitioner and also threatened over phone. It has also been alleged that the wife of the petitioner without having legal separation, married another person and has taken away certain materials which belong to the petitioner.

I find from the information which was addressed to the Officer-in-Charge, Dhaniakhali Police Station that all the five persons who have been named therein are acquainted with the

petitioner and an established matrimonial discord was the genesis of whole of the issues.

Having considered that there are specific statutory remedies available, I am of the opinion that the petitioner would approach the jurisdictional forum for necessary relief.

Police authorities would only interfere, if there is violation in relation to any public order because of situation blowing out of proportion as both the petitioner and the private respondents are presently in a strained relationship.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 20977 of 2025 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
