Dipankar Pandip v. Cesc Ltd And ORS
AD-09 Ct No.09 27.09.2022 TN WPA No. 21142 of 2022 Dipankar Pandip Vs.
CESC Limited and others Mr. Sanjib Dutta, Ms. Ankita Paul .... for the petitioner Mr. Debanjan Mukherji .... for the CESC Limited Mr. Swapan Kr. Paul ....for the State Learned counsel appearing for the CESC Limited files a report, which is kept on record, and submits that the CESC Limited has no difficulty in giving electricity connection to the private respondent at 6/3, Madhab Ghose Lane, District-Howrah, Pin - 711 101, as directed in WPA No. 3156 of 2022. The grievance in the present writ petition is that such connection is being sought to be given at the present petitioner's residence at 6/3/1, Madhab Ghosh Lane.
However, in view of the stand taken by the CESC Limited, the said cause of action does not survive any longer.
Accordingly, WPA No. 21142 of 2022 is disposed of by directing the CESC Limited to comply with the
directions passed in WPA No. 3156 of 2022 by giving the electricity connection to the present private respondent at 6/3 and not 6/3/1, Madhab Ghose Lane, District-Howrah.
There will be no order as to costs.
Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
