Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for about 289 days and it has been claimed that the petitioner is an Indian citizen on the basis of the passport issued by the concerned office. Learned advocate appearing for the State, pursuant to the earlier direction, submitted a report which reflects that passport was reissued from Embassy of India, Muscat (Oman).

The earlier order dated 12.06.2025 passed in CRM(DB) 873 of 2025 reflects that certain birth documents were relied upon by the petitioner wherein the coordinate Bench of this Hon'ble Court was pleased to hold that the birth certificate do not appear to be genuine. Having considered the same and the materials collected by the investigating agency, I am

of the view that this is not a fit case for granting bail. In case subsequent reports are received by the investigating agency, they would submit the same before the learned Trial Court. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

Report submitted on behalf of the State be kept with the record.

Case diary be returned to learned advocate appearing for the State.

The application for bail, being CRM (M) 1565 of 2025, is, thus, dismissed.
